iOS Apps ## š± Stuff Iāve Built Iām an iOS developer at heart. I build the kinds of tools I actually want to use myself. Here are the projects Iām currently working on. --- ### ā [Brewster]() ***The Modern Interface for GaggiMate-Powered Espresso***Ā I built Brewster because I love the "mechanical" soul of my Gaggia Classic, but I wanted the data precision of a $5,000 commercial machine. Brewster is a third-party companion app for machines modded with the GaggiMate open-source firmware. It turns your phone or tablet into a high-resolution dashboard for your morning shot. Main features: - Live Brew Charts: Visualize pressure, flow, and temperature in real-time. Dial in your shots with lab-grade feedback. - Headless Mode Support: Use Brewster as your primary interface for headless mode. - Advanced Profile Management: Create, save, and manage custom brew profiles offline. Switch between complex pressure curves with a tap. - Comprehensive Shot History: Every shot is automatically saved offline. Review your history to find your machine's "sweet spot." - Barista Journal: Log your beans, grind settings, dose, and detailed tasting notes to perfect your workflow. - Community Sharing: Easily import and export your best profiles to share with the wider home-barista community. My favorite feature: - The "Live Brew Charts." There is something incredibly satisfying (and helpful) about seeing the pressure and flow curves move as you pull a shot. Itās an app that listens to your instrument in real-time and gives you instant feedback as you learn to navigate the fretboard. - **My favorite feature:** "Focus Zone". It allows you to zero in on specific strings or fret ranges, so you can master stubborn problem areas or specific scale positions at your own pace. Itās the practice partner I always wished I had when I was first trying to find my way around the neck. I wanted to feel like I was actually _outside_. Fluya uses binaural 3D audio to simulate human hearing. Instead of a static loop, you can "walk" through immersive nature scenesāforests, rain, streamsāand the sound changes as you move. Itās perfect for blocking out the world when you need to read, nap, or just calm down. - **My favorite feature:** The "Presets." When I find a specific spot in the virtual forest that sounds perfect, I can save it and jump back there instantly later. It doesn't play songs (which catch your attention) or boring drone noises. instead, it plays generated music patterns at specific tempos designed to nudge your brain into a flow state. I use it every day for deep work sessions. You can switch modes based on what you need: high-tempo patterns for crunch time, or slower patterns for reading and relaxing. - **Available in:** [Brainie Lite (Free)](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/brainie-lite/id1255003792) and [Brainie Pro](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/brainie-pro/id1255002842). --- ### šØāš» Whatās Next? Iām always tinkering with new ideas. If you have feature requests or feedback on Fluya or Brainie, [send me a message](mailto:hello@peteger.com). I actually read them!
